     Rescue Me helped us place Diamond, a seven year old Bull Terrier, in a good home. We loved Diamond but we were not home during the day and it wasn't fair to her. Diamond loved the adopter and they will be together during the day keeping each other company. Diamond has a new start and we hope to stay in touch with the new owner. We are glad Diamond is getting the attention and love she deserves.

     Rescue Me helped rehome my eight year old Bull Terrier, Sugar. A potential adopter who knew of a family that was looking for a well trained older dog to welcome into their family. We meet up and Sugar and the two boys hit it off it was love at first sight. Sugar got a new home and I can stay in touch with the family that adopted her. They sent me her pictures of her first night there and her new comfy bed. She is well loved and taken care of now. I am overjoyed I got to rescue her and didn't listen to the SPCA that told me to put her down because of her age and breed.

     Thank You Rescue Me for helping all the animals in need of a new home to be posted on your site. I work with a wonderful group of friends through our rescue 'The Purr de Leash Project'. Dinah, a miniature English Bull Terrier was rescued on by another wonderful rescuer who contacted us to help aid Dinah from a backyard breeder, where Dinah was with another female Pit that already had several litters of puppies and had outgrown her use after the last litter almost killed her. Both Dinah and Pit Bull, Diamond (also posted on the site) lives in a outdoor kennel and in poor conditions. Luckily for the dogs, the owner surrendered because he was in poor health and dying from advance stage of Leukemia. He could no longer deal with the dogs and surrendered them. Dinah got the vetting by our rescue organization and got the attention needed as did the other female by No Bully Left Behind to help aid them and get ready for new homes. 15 inquires from posting Dinah on Rescue Me, so we had a job ahead of us to find the right home for Dinah's needs. A wonderful new human companion was found. He had the right work schedule that offered the flexibility that Dinah needs. She loves her new home and being spoiled rotten.      After months of trying all other rescue websites, with little to no help at all, I came upon Rescue Me at three in the morning. I am so glad I did! I filled out all the necessary fields, downloaded the photo and posted my pet for re-homing (very user friendly). I really thought this would be just another one of those sites and I would not hear anything. Within 24 hours, I received texts from an interested party and re-homed my Diva to a loving home in two days!! Thank you Rescue Me for giving me the way to connect with a great family. Thank you Brittney for taking in Diva to your loving home!! It is a heartbreaking moment to have to give up a loving pet, but Rescue Me put together two great people in order to save a great pet!!      Emma was rescued out of Mexico with her siblings from unknown circumstances, I would much rather not know. Emma was the most entertaining pup with the most wonderful character and disposition. She was truly a pleasure to foster and help raise. She was adopted into a wonderful home that is familiar with the Rat Terrier breed. She will be with her new human and best friend, going everywhere he goes. She will be a few hundred miles from us, but I am in hopes that her new owner keeps us updated ad sends us pics and videos as she grows.      A truck driver saw the post on Rescue Me and adopted her. Shauna had experience training Rottweilers and Great Pyrenees and had owned dogs all her life. It was a great fit as this dog loves to ride and look out the window. No owner ever came forward and she was jumping my four foot fence so I was very happy for her to have a safe loving home.

     Have owned Bullies for over 20 years and lost my most recent one several months ago. Left a hole in my heart that needed to be filled. I started looking at rescue groups and found Sweet Pea. Immediately, I felt her story pulls at my heart strings and her status of older bitch, heart worm positive and reportedly deaf did not rule her out as the one for me. I copied her picture from the website and placed it on my refrigerator where I looked at it every day. Began to make contact with the rescue group and eventually, made an application to adopt her. To make a long story shorter, I drove across several states and brought her home. She has fit into my home and my pack as if she has been here forever. She loves the other dogs and was hated by the cat. She did not bother the cat. It was the other way around. The first time my doxies met her, they were overjoyed. I am convinced they thought my previous Bullie was back. There was a lot of kissing going around!! She and the cat have called a truce. They now look at each other and go, 'ho-hum' Sweet Pea definitely fits her name... There is no sweeter dog. Incidentally, she is not deaf and oh, did I say that the Sweet Pea has always been my favorite flower? It was an omen. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     My search for an English bull terrier that was a good fit for my 'furry family' was a success because of Rescue Me! The website is so user friendly to find a specific breed with a state by state rescue location. The links to each dog's Rescue location often provided more information and sometimes more pictures. I was very appreciative of the emails that let me know when another bull terrier was available for adoption. Tilly is a sweet, funny dog who is sure to share lots of love and laughter.

     After having screened numerous candidates, Kato and myself were able to find a couple that offered an opportunity for Kato to continue to thrive in a loving home! The couple were proud of the opportunity to accept Kato into their home along with his spunky personality and playful nature. The process of finding a viable home was exhausting and uncomfortable, filtering through the experience of re-homing along with making sure that Kato was going to a good home with competent loving people.      Jeff, thank you very much for creating this site. I had posted my puppy on other sites with no success. Here at your site people are specifically looking for pets from people who really take care for their animals and want the best home for them. Milkshake was adopted to a great family. I know they will love him even more because he is replacing a dog they lost who passed away. I am very glad the options we have to connect to the families who want to adopt and yet the connections can remain private. I called the mom after she sent me an email and she was so happy to hear from me since I had posted in December. We talked for a long time and I sent her more pictures of Milkshake. She called me back and asked how they could get Milkshake. Since we were on opposite sided of the state, we elected to meet in the middle. Milkshake first became friends with the little girl that is 3 years old. He wagged and wagged his tail and wanted to be with her. He was good and happy with the mom and the dad. He cooperated well when they put on his harness (he was used to one anyway). When it was time for them to go back home, he happily got in their SUV and just wanted to lick everyone in the car. She called me about a week later and said the first thing that he did was jump up and lay down on their couch. He must have known that he was home. I will certainly tell others about your site.      Jeff, I am proud and excited to let you know we did indeed find a permanent home for Chongo! Rescue Me was so helpful and I thank you so much for your support and advice! The advice you gave us was so valuable, and the encouragement meant so much to me. You let us know the questions to ask, we eliminated several people who were interested, with the right questions. We did inspect the home, as advised. We did call vets to ask how owners were with their pets. With all this information, I do feel really comfortable with the home he is in now. Your rescue was and is truly a blessing! He found a home with a young man who has had a bull terrier in the past. He has a large home and a large yard and a pool. He will be taking Chongo to work with him! Chongo will be the only pet in the home, and there are no children in the home. The vet that the new owner used in the past for his other bull terrier is the same vet that Chongo has! We are so happy! And thank you again! Michele

Not only have I adopted a gorgeous bully through your site previously, but I have also recently managed to find a lovely home for Patches, our female bully who unfortunately had to be re-homed as our male was hurting her. Although I received several responses to my ad, in the end Patches was adopted by the very first person who had responded to my ad! Without your site, this would not have been possible, and Patches would have been exposed to the risk of injury for far longer. Not only was she homed quickly, but I was able to choose which home was best for her, and I am happy to report that she has settled in very well with her new family.      Dear Jeff, I found a new home for beautiful Kaia through your website. I just wanted you to know what my experience was using your service. First of all, when I found your website I had tried unsuccessfully to place Kaia into a new family by the usual means. She is a very good dog, but with me and my husband working full time jobs, we just couldn't give her the love and attention she deserved. I found your website when I was at my wits end. I found your site easy to navigate, and simple to post Kaia and her story. Within 3 days I had an email about her. Within a week I had found a beautiful loving family to adopt her, and placed her with them on Friday night. The new family drove almost 2 hours to pick her up, and already have given me an update on how well she is doing with them. Thank you so much for helping me find Kaia the family she deserves to have.      Mr. Gold, My wife and I had our first child (baby boy) in the beginning of 2012 and we soon found out that he is allergic to our dog (Teddy). With this news, Teddy was moved to the backyard and has been an outside dog. We live in Arizona and after speaking to a trusted veterinarian, he confirmed what we were thinking: an English Bull Terrier does not thrive in the Arizona summer heat and he suggested that we put Teddy up for adoption. Our veterinarian suggested Rescue Me! and we made Teddy's detailed post in about 5 minutes. Rescue Me! was an amazing experience! Minutes after posting our ad, we started receiving emails and phone calls requesting additional information about Teddy. I spoke to each individual that expressed interest since my number one goal was to find my best friend of five years a home that would be amazing. Everyone responded well to this request and many submitted a short summary email of how they could provide an outstanding home for Teddy. After a week and several considerations, we found the right home for Teddy. We are so blessed to have used Rescue Me! and we know Teddy will have an amazing life. Thank you so very much!!! Eric

     Hi Jeff, Oden was adopted yesterday. He left with his new family all the way in Indiana from our home in WI.. I can't believe the amount of interest that we had in Oden. Frankly I had a difficult time keeping up with the who did I contact and who didn't I? We received responses as far away as New Jersey for our little man. In total I had 23 on a list waiting to see if they would get to have a shot. My philosophy was if it is a fit with the first contact that is his home. We were not going to meet everyone an then choose. that would have been too painful. This worked out perfect. I met the most incredible people. One of the hardest things I have had to do was give up our little man but it was met with compassion and understanding from everyone I have been involved with. I will be happy to donate. Anything else I can help with I would love to. I don't know if you need any website assistance but if you do, I could help you with that. Anything at all. Really like to give back to a wonderful organization. You have an excellent service... The weight on my shoulders has been lifted and my heart knows he will love his new forever home. Kelly LaTour

     Pandora came up on my email first thing in the morning and when I read about her, I just knew she was the one I'd been hoping to find! It was just a matter of patience, but I emailed her owner and told her that I had owned a Bull Terrier when I was growing up and had him in 4H and trained him to show and that my mother has always saved on to his memory and said that she would never own another dog unless it was a Bull Terrier. I explained she is retired now and would like to see her have a companion and something to take care of. I got a response right back and answered some of my preliminary questions and later that night I showed my mother her picture and told her all about her and she was thrilled at the thought of getting her. We called the owner and spoke directly to her and made arrangements to meet and then hopefully take Pandora within a few days. We have had her for three weeks and she has been a perfect fit! Pandora adapted well, right from the start and my mother spoils her to death. My son and I stop over every day and play with her and then once a week she will be going through class to learn agility with our Board Collie (who is her newest best friend!) She is just PERFECT! I am so glad you have your website and I like how it is displayed. I feel for some many of the animals and just want to adopt them all. But since I know I cant, I am thankful for those that take them in and give them a temporary home until a forever home can be found. Thank you for this service, I share it on facebook often!      Jeff, Pandora will be adopted officially on Monday. We are very sad to see her go, but we found a great family who will take great care of her. Your site was extremely helpful and without it I worried we wouldn't be able to find a wonderful home for Pandora. Also with her breed I worried of getting emails from people secretly wanting her to dog fight. I am extremely happy to report she is going to a wonderful home with a great family and will be loved and spoiled and they have had bull terriers in the past and know there temperament so I don't worry that they will get her and then give her away, also they agreed to keep in contact so we could see how Pandora is doing!      Capone found an immediate home from a person who saw the add on Rescue Me's website. I had posted him on some other sites such as craigslist, petfinder, and a few rescue sites, and had no luck or bad candidates for a good home after meeting with people. I was contacted by many people who saw your site, and to my surprise had to actually screen and pick from a pool of very good candidates to include a doctor, an army sergeant, and a lawyer who were all good homes. The home I chose lives close by our home in the same city, and so we are able to remain friends with the home and see the dog which was a blessing to us. I really found your site to be of easiest to use, user friendly and very easy to place the add even for people who aren't computer literate. The picture uploading was super quick and the cropping tools were easy to use as well. Over all I give this site a ten out of ten rating! Thanks so much for helping us to place our animal and keep up the GREAT work! You will certainly be remembered at Christmas time!

     Dear Jeff, The Rescue Me website was EXTREMELY helpful to me and my beloved pet. I unfortunately had less and less time for him because of work and school, so I decided to find him a new home. I received an email from an individual who was looking to adopt. He asked all the right questions and we had a lot in common so i knew it would be a good fit for my beloved pet. I only expected to find a good home for my beloved pet but what I found was an excellent home for him and I obtained a new friend. My pets new owner and I speak everyday! I am so glad I used this site.

One of the first people who contacted me felt like the exact person I was imagining would adopt Bullseye, but Bullseye was not hardly the dog he was looking for.
