I am looking to re-home our lovey bully. I rescued him about 6 months ago and he has now learned several tricks and came out of his shell. He loves everyone including babies to the elderly. He is very smart and just really needs love!

|Rescue Me ID: 17-04-15-00328Lucy (female)|
Hi everyone! I'm Lucy, a 9 month old bull terrier mix. I am the sweetest, most loving pup you will ever meet. I can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people, but I open up quickly. I get along with dogs of all sizes, kids, and cats. Because I'm still a puppy, I would love a furry sibling to play with, or an active family. I also LOVE to cuddle. I am doing great with potty training and I'm working on crate training. I know how to sit and am working on other basic commands. I'm a very smart girl and I learn quickly. I'm so excited to meet my forever family! Lucy is being fostered in Hartford, WI. Her adoption fee is $75 (with a separate $100 check for spay/neuter deposit) and covers all age appropriate shots at time of adoption, microchip and health certificate Deposit will be shredded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to HFAH 30 days after adoption. Maddie is 10 months old and 34 lbs, but needs to gain a little weight. Her ideal owner will be committed to training and an exercise program. She is crate trained, housebroken and knows sit and down so far. We are working on her leash manners. No cats and Maddie will need to be an only dog as she continues to work on her social skills. |PIease Read Before Adopting a Bull Terrier in Wisconsin|
Bull Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Bull Terriers are stocky, solid dogs that were once bred to be very fierce but today are much gentler. Bull Terriers are companionable, thrive on attention, and do not like to be left alone for hours or left out of activities. Bull Terriers are spunky and energetic but need to get plenty of brisk exercise or they may become lazy and put on weight. Bull Terriers like children but do not like to be teased. Bull Terriers can be good pets but it is important that they are thoroughly socialized and obedience trained. Bull Terriers sometimes are not good with other household pets and can sometimes be aggressive with other dogs.
