Rescue Me ID: 18-04-12-00046Louie (male)

Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Male Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adult Women Only
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected,
 Fearful/Anxious

Louie is a good boy! He is house trained and knows commands. I rescued him in 2017 and he has done nothing but bring joy to my life. I have to move and cannot bring him to an apartment as that wouldn't be fair to him being trapped in such a small space. Louie needs a loving home with a backyard to run around and get his energy out. He does well with bigger dogs and take a minute to warm up to people as he was abused. Other than some fear at times he is a well trained and protective companion.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Bull Terrier in Tennessee
Bull Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. Bull Terriers are stocky, solid dogs that were once bred to be very fierce but today are much gentler. Bull Terriers are companionable, thrive on attention, and do not like to be left alone for hours or left out of activities. Bull Terriers are spunky and energetic but need to get plenty of brisk exercise or they may become lazy and put on weight. Bull Terriers like children but do not like to be teased. Bull Terriers can be good pets but it is important that they are thoroughly socialized and obedience trained. Bull Terriers sometimes are not good with other household pets and can sometimes be aggressive with other dogs.
