Rescue Me ID: 14-07-05-00327Lulu (female)

Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Deaf

Lulu is a deaf girl. We call her Luna as she is as white as the moon. We also use the sign for 'L'. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She is pretty quiet throughout the day. She naps a lot due to severe heart worms. She is currently undergoing treatment for the heart worms. She is learning signs and learning how to ring a bell to go outside to go potty. She is in the process of being house broken, mostly due to communication errors and she does not make a peep when she wants to go outside. Currently, she will go to the door and stare at it until she goes outside. When she wants to come in she will bark until you let her inside. She ... (Read More)prefers not to be alone, she has to touch you a lot, to make sure you are still there. She is crated at night or when we have to leave to run errands. Sometimes it takes her 15 minutes to a half hour to calm down when she goes into her crate. Most times, however, she is really good and settles in quickly. She gets along well with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and car rides. She follows me around the house. Also, she loves to snuggle on the couch. She often tries to sneak into our bed, her little floppy ears and eyes staring at you. It's hard to resist her sometimes. Sometimes she barks at butterflies, lawn mowers or for no reason at all. She is quite a character and she is such a great dog. Rescue will bring her to an adopter if you can't go and pick her up. (Less)

Hi everyone. This is Mikey (ie: Michael Angelo) and he is a 5 1/2 year old Staf. Terrier / Bull Terrier mix that is 56 Lbs. He is fixed & up to date on all of his shots & heart worm medication. He has a chicken & grain allergy so he is kept on a grain-free & chicken free diet. He is in need of a wonderful forever home that KNOWS how to own a terrier breed. Mikey is a HUGE mush & really thinks that he is a lap dog. Small animals and cats need not apply. It would be best for him if he was the only male dog. Please help me find him a wonderful forever family. We love him but we can only foster him for a short time. Please open your home & ... (Read More)hearts to this handsome boy. (Less)
