Animal ID: 30838547Thor (male)

Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Thor was adopted from another Long Island shelter, and four years later, surrendered to us due to allergies of a new family member moving in to the home. Unfortunately, his original shelter refused to take him back, his owners refused to reconsider keeping him, so now he is here, at our shelter, homeless and in need of a new loving family. Thor is a very gorgeous, silky black and white boy, who is used to living with teens and children, but due to some issues with people near his food, we are recommending him for a home with kids 17 and up. (We are hoping that changes soon!) Thor used to live with CATS and could do without the copy of ... (Read More)another dog. Thor's previous owners said he is house trained, and is used to living in an active and noisy home. They said he is friendly and playful with children and strangers, but is scared of men in uniform. Thor needs an owner who is able to spend the time working on his food guarding issues. If you think you got what it takes, please meet Thor!
