Rescue Me ID: 15-01-25-00264Lucy (female)

Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lucy is 45 pounds, lean and muscular and a very sweet dog. She gets along great with my other male dog and my 6-year old daughter. She is housebroken for the most part but must be watched and let out often. She walks on a leash, she is crate trained during the day but only for a few hours at a time. She sleeps in my bed at night and is a cuddler. She was taken to a dog daycare and got in trouble for starting an argument with another dog but I think it's because groups aren't good for her. She's great, as I said, with my other dog and never acts aggressive to dogs while we are walking, etc. Lucy has had Giardia for 5 months and I've ... (Read More)treated it 4 times. It's in the soil in my yard and I cannot get rid of it and don't have the means to continue treating this. She needs to be walked when she goes out and her poop picked up immediately so she doesn't recontaminate herself. She doesn't act sick, she just has loose stools, but I can no longer care for her and work on ridding her of this parasite. I am praying somebody can take her and help her. She's an absolutely wonderful dog. I just can't have two dogs that continue passing a parasite around. (Less)
